Woo-hoo! The first admin theme submitted to Pivot Styles! The Drunkey Love admin theme for Pivot changes the way your Pivot admin screens look. Installing the theme is as simple as uploading the files to your pivot/theme directory, selecting the theme from the Administration » Configuration screen, saving the settings and maybe refreshing your browser to see the changes.

I would like to extend my thanks to Kevin for taking the time to put together and submit such a quality theme. When offered the reward for submitting the first theme Kevin showed his true colours by donating the $10.00 back to Pivot!

We were just contacted by our most active template designer, Cissi Tsang. She informed us that due to other major commitments consuming so much of her time she will be unable to provide direct support for any of the templates she has created for the Pivot community. Questions regarding any of her templates should be directed to the Templates and Layout forum at the Pivot site.

Gunnar 'Digits' Lundström has again shown his support for the Pivot Language community. He has submitted updated versions (iso-8859-15 and utf-8) of the Swedish language files!

 27.07.2005 Interface Themes: Wanted!

The default Interface Theme (IT) distributed with Pivot (Gant) was created by the Pivot author, Bob den Otter, and looks very nice. It looks so nice that no one has bothered to create an IT of their own and submit it. While that says a lot for the talents of Bob.. it doesn't help us out at all.

Pivot Styles would like to provide the Pivot community with alternate Interface Themes so they can personalize their blogging experience even more than they are already. Through the availability of different Interface Themes they will be able to do just that by being able to have a 'Pivot backend' that suits their own style or personality.

As an incentive to get the creative juices flowing We are offering a whopping $10.00 to the first person that submits a functional Interface Theme to us. Some info to get you started can be found here and completed ITs can be emailed to us here!
