27.07.2005Interface Themes: Wanted!

The default Interface Theme (IT) distributed with Pivot (Gant) was created by the Pivot author, Bob den Otter, and looks very nice. It looks so nice that no one has bothered to create an IT of their own and submit it. While that says a lot for the talents of Bob.. it doesn't help us out at all.

Pivot Styles would like to provide the Pivot community with alternate Interface Themes so they can personalize their blogging experience even more than they are already. Through the availability of different Interface Themes they will be able to do just that by being able to have a 'Pivot backend' that suits their own style or personality.

As an incentive to get the creative juices flowing We are offering a whopping $10.00 to the first person that submits a functional Interface Theme to us. Some info to get you started can be found here and completed ITs can be emailed to us here!

I guess not many people are up for this. It’s rather hard to improve the excellent looking theme we already have. Isn’t it better to call for more high quality blog themes? Pivot needs more of them I think. The best themes are still made for WP (which has an awful looking admin theme by the way :-D ) so Pivot definitely needs more good ones. I’ll try to fire up photoshop again some time soon I guess…
